An organic experience from Vietnam

Scent, carved from what the world throws away.

cocinnco upcycles Vietnamese cinnamon bark and discarded coconut shells into aromatherapy pieces and keepsake ornaments, each one shaped by hand in a village outside Ho Chi Minh City.

100% Upcycled Naturally Aromatic Handmade & Fair Home · Car · Everywhere

Every piece begins twice discarded, a coconut shell, a curl of cinnamon bark, and ends as something you'll want to keep close.

The origin

Made where the cinnamon grows.

Vietnam is the beating heart of the world's cinnamon trade, producing 18% of the global supply, yet commanding a third of its total export value. It is, by reputation, the most potent cassia on earth.

In a village outside Ho Chi Minh City, a small team gathers the offcuts and empty shells that local processing leaves behind. What would have been burned is cleaned, cured, and carved, turning a by-product into a livelihood, and a livelihood into an object worth keeping.

The collection

Small forms, generous scent.

The full cocinnco range, each cinnamon-cured with high-oil Vietnamese cassia for a warm, sweet-spicy scent that lasts for months. Tap any piece to see it up close and buy on VIA.

From shell to scent

Five steps, all done by hand.

01

Rescued

Empty coconut shells and cinnamon offcuts are gathered from local processors before they're burned as waste.

02

Sun-cured

Each shell is cleaned and dried in the Vietnamese sun until it rings hard and hollow.

03

Hand-carved

Artisans cut and sand every shape: the smiley, the tree, the yin-yang. No two exactly alike.

04

Cinnamon-pressed

Ground cassia bark and its natural oil are pressed into the shell, the source of the scent.

05

Aroma-sealed

Finished with jute and a natural seal that lets the fragrance release slowly for months.

Why cinnamon

A spice that has always done more than flavour.

For generations cinnamon has been burned as incense, brewed, and pressed, valued as much for what it does as how it smells.

Deep, honest warmth

Vietnamese cassia carries the highest essential-oil content of any cinnamon, the cinnamaldehyde behind its sweet, spicy, unmistakable aroma.

Naturally antibacterial

Lab studies have long explored cinnamon's compounds for their ability to disrupt bacteria and calm inflammation.*

A calmer kind of fresh

No aerosol, no synthetic citrus, just a grounding, mood-warming scent that fills a space slowly.

Lasting, not fleeting

Sealed in shell rather than sprayed, the fragrance releases gently over months, not minutes.

The circle

What the world burns, we make beautiful.

A single coconut shell can take 10 to 20 years to break down. Most never get the chance: they're burned or buried the moment the flesh is gone. Every cocinnco piece intercepts one on its way to the fire, and turns it into fair, skilled work.

Nothing sprayed

Scent from bark and shell, not propellant.

Waste intercepted

Shells rescued before they're burned.

Hands, not machines

Carved one at a time in-village.

Fair by design

By-product becomes livelihood.

Ways to live with it

One small object. A dozen quiet jobs.

In the car

On the mirror, warm and never cloying.

The wardrobe

Among clothes and linens, freshening as it goes.

Sneakers & bags

The natural answer to gym-bag funk.

Cupboards

Perfumes the shelf; keeps ants at bay.

Any room

A grounding note by the door or the bed.

Gift-ready

A meaningful, handmade little thing.

The opportunity

A natural story, in a market moving toward natural.

Shoppers are trading aerosol and synthetics for scent they can trust, and cocinnco sits exactly where that demand, an authentic origin, and a circular story meet.
